Colorless transparent mass with high heat resistance (up to 153°C), which softens depending on the preparation method at a temperature of 180°-300°C. The molecular weight of polycarbonate is 50000-500000.

There are especially heat-resistant grades (PC-HT) - these are copolymers that can withstand temperatures up to 160 ° -205 ° С.

Polycarbonate has high rigidity and high impact resistance at any temperature. The material withstands cyclic temperature changes from -253° to +100°C. Base grades have a high coefficient of friction. Polycarbonate is recommended for the manufacture of precision parts, because it has high dimensional stability, low moisture absorption. Non-toxic.
