Polypropylene (PP)
Polypropylene is the second most common polymer material in the world. Its main advantage is its low weight. The substance is universal, its qualities are affected by free carbon atoms and their location. Due to its structure, the material does not deform at high temperatures up to 150°C. However, it is susceptible to low temperatures, oxygen and sunlight. At low temperatures, the polymer becomes brittle, so polypropylene is not used in the production of parts for the Nordic countries. Otherwise, the use of the material is almost unlimited - a large number of packaging films are made from it (for example, for cigarettes, confectionery), vehicle interior trim parts, etc.
